City council in retreat
The Spokane City Council is in retreat today, headed for the hills of the West Central Community Center.
The meeting, which is a "goal setting and strategy session," will begin at noon at the community center, 1603 N. Belt St. No public testimony will be allowed, so just bring your ears. Also, the council members could move into executive session, meaning you won't be allowed to listen in. Still, it's a good chance to find out what your city officials are up to.
