MORNING HEADLINES: Police shooting, underwater pumpkin carving

Another police shooting A Spokane County sheriff’s deputy assigned to the Valley shot and killed a man there while responding to a domestic disturbance report. Details are still few. It’s the fourth officer-involved shooting locally since Aug. 25. (SR)

Skateboard bandit A north Spokane Kwik Stop was robbed twice in two days this weekend, the latter time by a skateboarder with a gun. (KXLY)

Washington gets electoral attention Michelle Obama and Jill Biden are expected to appear at fundraising events for Patty Murray in western Washington today. Their husbands both visited the West Side last week. (KREM)
