Cry A While — New York City is suing the King Mountain Tobacco Company (located on the Yakama Indian Reservation) for illegally selling and distributing untaxed cigarettes. Oh no, now they're going to give tobacco a bad name! (SR)

You Ain't Goin' Nowhere — In 2001, Fred Russell was drunkenly trying to pass in a no-passing zone on the Moscow-Pullman Highway when he crossed the centerline and smashed into a car with six WSU students, killing three. After skipping bail and fleeing to Ireland, he was found and extradited back to the U.S., where he was sentenced to 14 years in prison. A judge is now in the middle of hearing his appeal. (KXLY)

I Forgot More Than You'll Ever Know — Twitter released a (horrible) list of the 10 most important tweets of 2010, which includes Walt Minnick's campaign manager, John Foster, issuing a concession tweet. Not only did they ignore Sarah Palin (whose every tweet is covered like a primetime presidential press conference), they also missed the fact that a) MC Hammer is, much to everyone's shock, still alive, and b) tweeting things like "The reservoir I draw from runs deep and is anchored in the human experience and diverse cultures... to hell and back is an understatement."
