Broke Hipster Night — an old Seaside staple — is going on at Aclub, featuring the usual appearance by Benjamin Jorgens and also a show with rockers MONUMENTS. 8 pm. $3. Gotta be 21. 

In Browne's Addition, at the Museum of Arts & Culture, the monthly meet-n-greet-n-drink soiree BeGin! continues. Tonight's party features musical talent by My Pinky Has a Name. 6 pm. Free. All-ages. 

Slim Thug, a rapper best known for his contribution to Mike Jones' "Still Tippin" and Gwen Stefani's "Luxurious," brings his Southern-fried hip-hop to Stage54. 7 pm. $25 - $30. Gotta be 18.

Perhaps the earliest "show" to ever come across our desks: Tomorrow, the folks at the Baby Bar and Neato Burrito will host the grand opening of Morning After Bakery, which offers some of the most delicious pastries in town. From 9 am to noon, DJ Likes Girls spins all kinds of popular tunes, and you can get breakfast burritos, bloody marys, mimosas... the works. We start every Saturday this way, of course.

Over at the Bing, the unchallenged master of fingerstyle picking, Adrian Legg, plays alongside local artist Janet Johnson. Legg has been praised by other guitar virtuosi, too: Steve Vai, Joe Satriani. Check him out at 8 pm. $17. All-ages. 

We just got word that Joan Jett's show at Northern Quest Casino is sold out (read our story on Jett), but we think hitting up the Knitting Factory for the Cash'd Out show would be a sufficient replacement. The group — which claims to be the next best thing to Johnny Cash himself — performs more than 100 of Cash's songs. Be ready to start two-steppin'. Locals Silver Treason open the show. 8:30 pm. $12. All-ages. 

And break out your hankies because, of course, there's the very last day of Empyrean. The show starts super early Saturday, with doors opening at 3 pm. It's 15 bucks for all day, but look at this line-up:
