Sasquatch 2011 Lineup Revealed

Posted By on Mon, Feb 7, 2011 at 12:52 PM

At it's annual Sasquatch Music Festival kick-off party in Seattle this past weekend, the folks at Live Nation pulled back the curtain on this year's line-up. This year's festival — the tenth Sasquatch — expands to four days of entertainment at the Gorge Amphitheater, and also revives a lot of key acts from over the last four years.

You can see the full line-up here, but the biggies you should know about are the Foo Fighters, Robyn, Wilco, the Decemberists, Modest Mouse, Death Cab for Cutie, Iron & Wine and the Flaming Lips — most of which have played the festival more than once over the festival history.

We saw a lot of cries of joy over Facebook — for Das Rascist, for the Head & the Heart and for Spokane's own rockers the Globes — but was anyone else underwhelmed? I'm not crapping on it altogether, there's some great stuff to be expected (I am particularly stoked about the Flaming Lips' full performance of Soft Bulletin).

But overall, I think I'm gonna save my money for Rush (performing Moving Pictures) in July. Call me a nerd.

Be prepared: Tickets for the tenth year of Sasquatch are on sale now. And we wouldn't be surprised if this puppy sells out fast.
