Shea blasts back — A day after Republican Washington state Sen. Bob McCaslin claimed that state Rep. Matt Shea was unfit to fill the seat he's vacating, Shea has decried the remarks as "vicious personal attacks." (SR)

Violence prevention forum tonight — Mayor Mary Verner, SPD Chief Anne Kirkpatrick and Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich will head a forum called "Preventing Violence - Our Responsibility." (KXLY)
