U.S. Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers, R-Spokane, has started releasing a monthly video diary and I have just one question: Are our taxpaying dollars funding this slick YouTube feature?

Because if they are, I demand the soundtrack to include more than one song! And that's it. Otherwise, I kind of had fun watching them. We walk up the capitol steps and see her attend the president's State of the Union. There are cool Indiana Jones-like graphics of a plane flying from D.C. to Olympia to Spokane.

My favorite bit is when she says the fun is being taken out of the American Dream. Because if the American Dream isn't fun, it's boring. And no one likes hearing about a boring dream. Here's the second installment:
