TODAY: Hump Day Happy Hours around town

Each Wednesday on Bloglander, we give you a taste of happyhours going on at bars around town that night. (Read previous posts.)

In downtown Spokane, favorite West Sprague Ave. hangout Irv’s offers happy hour all afternoon and into the evening today from 1-8 pm. Draft Bud Light is on special for $2.50 a pint, or you can grab a pint of PBR for mere pocket change at $1.50. Micros on tap – Mac & Jack’s, Shock Top, Elysian, or Iron Horse’s Irish Death – are just $3.50. Irv’s also offers $4 well drinks during happy hour.

On the South Hill, head on over to Famous Ed’s for its happy hour today from 3-6 pm, which includes $4 wines, $3.25 wells, and 20 oz domestics or microbrews for the price of a pint ($3-$4.50). Famous Ed’s also offers its “Prime Time” specials from 3-4 pm today, including $1 domestics, $2 micros, $2.25 wells, and $2 house wines.

For all you North Siders, long-time restaurant and bar The Screaming Yak offers happy hour today from 3-6 pm. The main special is $1.50 domestic bottled beer, but if you’re feeling hungry, you can also grab an appetizer for $5.95. Not a beer drinker? Select well drinks are $3.

In the Valley, you can find happy hour this evening from 4-6 pm at Ambrosia Bistro and Wine Bar. Apps, including sweet potato fries, calamari, shoestring fries with feta, and a hummus platter are just $5. Drink specials include $5 house wines, $6 martinis and cocktails, and $3.50 draft beers and well drinks.
