Place Your Bets: Juggalos or Feds?

Posted By on Fri, Aug 10, 2012 at 2:35 PM

Earlier this week, one of Spokane's favorite bands — Insane Clown Posse — tweeted that it would be making the "biggest announcments [sic] of our career" this week at the annual Gathering of Juggalos.

That announcement came today: ICP is super freakin' pissed at the FBI. Late last year, the FBI classified juggalos — the face-painted followers of the infamous murder-rap duo — as a "hybrid gang" as threatening as street gangs like the Bloods and the Crips.

So Insane Clown Posse has got a plan: they're suing the feds. Read the Village Voice's report of the announcement here.

To help build their case against the federal government, Shaggy 2 Dope and Violent J encouraged juggalos and juggalettes nationwide are encouraged to visit JuggalosFightBack.com to report cases when they believe they have come under undue scrutiny or harassment by police officers. Local juggalos who feel the same can also email me at leahs [at] inlander [dot] com.
