Aaron Collins, a computer technician in Lexington, Ky., died in July 2012 at age 30. His final wish was that his family go out for dinner and leave an “awesome tip.” They did, and then they kept it going after people from around the country heard the story and started donating.

Aaron’s older brother, Seth, is now going on a road trip to give $500 to a server in all 50 states. In Seattle earlier this year, the server he surprised told him to visit her hometown of Spokane if he were ever back in the state.

So he did, with a visit to the Flying Goat this week, where server William Sherwood was the lucky recipient. William pocketed the $500 and then took out his wallet to donate the cash he had to pass on for the next tip.

Watch the video here and follow along on Facebook. The next stop for Aaron’s Last Wish will be in Alaska.
