FRIDAY
Last April, Wolfmother frontman Andrew Stockdale announced that the band was done. After more than a decade together — albeit with multiple lineup changes — the Australian psychedelic-rock three-piece was over. In its place was Stockdale’s solo project, with the same personnel as Wolfmother. It’s not clear exactly what put the pieces back together again, but in December Wolfmother announced the band would put out a new album, resulting in the self-released New Crown. After all the drama, we’re just glad they’re back on the road touring through Spokane at the Knitting Factory tonight. The all-ages starts at 8 pm and is $25.

Jones Radiator brings in Gorilla Rabbit Chicken to the house along with Laura White and also Casey Rogers. It's going to be a night of great songwriting. 

The Five Suns Bluegrass Festival in Moses Lake starts tonight. Each night’s lineup is a little different, but tonight is when you’ll hear Della Mae (which includes Spokane-born fiddle player Kimber Ludiker). See the full lineup for the 2-day event here.

Metal band Soulfly brings the loud to the Hop! tonight. Supporting them are Lody Kong, Soblivious and the Steven Jaimz Project. The all-ages show is $16 and starts at 8 pm. 


SATURDAY

Tim Blood & the Gutpanthers (pictured right) are billing Saturday’s show at Mikey’s Gyros as their final reunion. Is it their final show ever? We can’t predict the future, but you might as well show up to this one just in case — they were named an Inlander Band to Watch back in 2012, after all. Back then, the five-piece was so punk rock that three of them were even accused by Time magazine of being “inept” terrorists for egging an auto dealership. After more than a year away from performing, who knows what might happen at this show? The show starts at 8 pm and is $5. Nailbastard and Mysterious Skin will open.

Kate Tucker & the Sons of Sweden offer a little dream pop getaway experience at the Bartlett Saturday, Singer-songwriters Liz Rognes and Eliza Johnson open the set. The all-ages show starts at 8 pm and is $8 at the door. 


SUNDAY
Over at the Hop! is L.A.-based Exhausted Prayer with local acts Losing Skin, Progenitus, Odyssey and Xingia. Heavy metal enthusiasts, this is the show for you. The all-ages concert starts at 8 pm and is $7.
