Hey, well-known local officeholder
... driving in busy Monroe Street traffic while dialing a cell phone ... yeah, we saw you in your gray Prius (with license plate starting with 9). We saw you on Wednesday night at 8 pm, heading north with two small passengers before turning onto Northwest Boulevard. And you weren't looking at the road.
Of course, the fact that soon after, we too were driving while barely glancing at the road — had to scribble down all the information on this important political sighting, you see — is not a mitigating factor. Neither is the way, next morning along the same stretch of road, that we guiltily realized that we were driving while stuffing breakfast into our pie holes.
10-and-2; eyes on the road. We should both know better.
