THIS WEEKEND IN MUSIC!

TONIGHT!
After you pound some brews over at Riverfront Park's Oktoberfest, head on down to Jones Radiator, where the Warren G. Hardings will take the stage with their amped up, string-heavy Americana. It's the stuff of drunker ho-downs — like that scene in Titanic when everyone dances like banshees. Just less Irish. The band plays with Wolves in the Woods. Shows there cost about $5, and usually kick off between 8 and 9 pm. Gotta be 21.

Also tonight:

Belltower (Pullman): Eclectic Approach, Vividal, Genevieve (All-ages)

Greyhound Park (Post Falls): Shinedown, Godsmack, Staind, Papa Roach, Adelita's Way (All-ages)

Masonic Center: Dirty Martinis for Clean Water feat. Pink Tango (21)

Ugly Bettie's: Flyng Spiders, Son Dulce, DJ Stack (21)

SATURDAY!

Northwest Event Center: OTEP, Butcher Babies, One Eyed Doll, Burnt Offerings (All-ages)

Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture (MAC): Harvest Festival feat. Franklin, Marshall McLean, Jamie Frost, Pearl Snaps (All-ages)

SUNDAY!

Maybe you've never heard of Communist Daughter — but there's a chance they're going to sound familiar. That might because the band's song "Speed of Sound" was featured on the hit TV series, Grey's Anatomy. The band has gained a fast following with their hand-clappy, banjo-heavy songs that tell dark stories with bright, beautiful melodies. They take the stage on Sunday night at Jones Radiator with horror folk juggernaut, Terrible Buttons. If indie-folk is your thing, you're gonna want to be there. 9 pm. $5. (21)

Also:

The Hop!: Cool Nutz, Chillest Illest, DubbleOO, Dice W., Frodie G & DJ Rocque, Kahgah, Johnny Five, Edge of Luni Bin, DJ Fat Boy (All-ages)
