Idaho may be a deep red state, but education — voters seemed to say Tuesday — remains outside the bounds of partisan politics. Voters statewide rejected Superintendent of Schools Tom Luna’s controversial reforms, apparently worried the quality of education — already a concern in Idaho — might erode further under his approach. Public schools, apparently, are considered a political-free zone.
