On behalf of Downtown Spokane, I would personally like to invite you to come be part of your city this holiday season.

The Downtown holiday season comes to life on the day after Thanksgiving when the "Windows of Christmas Past" are unveiled. Many have treasured the animated displays adorning Downtown's windows in past generations. We are proud to recreate them along Main Street for the entire community to enjoy.

Visit Santa and his live reindeer at the Annual Reindeer March and Treelighting ceremony on Friday, November 29, to welcome in a holiday filled with many exciting traditions that begin Downtown.

Come experience our community spirit. Meet friends over a cup of coffee. Take a horse-drawn carriage ride among thousands of twinkling lights. Spend an exciting day shopping at one-of-a-kind stores. Whirl around the park on your ice skates. Whisper secrets in Santa's ear. Tempt your palate with the region's best dining. Or just stroll the Downtown streets and become immersed in the radiant lights, enchanting decor and lingering holiday carols from the rooftops to the sidewalks and everywhere in between.

More than 1,200 businesses and properties in the Business Improvement District focus every day on making Downtown a clean, safe, accessible and fun destination for all. A vibrant spark has been ignited Downtown, and as Newsweek magazine acknowledged, "the lights are bright again!"

Whether it has been a day, a month or a year since you last visited Downtown, we welcome you to come rediscover the traditional holiday season in your city, the kind that memories are made from.

A joyous holiday to you, your family and friends!
