TONIGHT: Ted Leo & the Pharmacists, Yarn Owl

When Ted Leo's Shake the Sheets dropped back in 2004, it was a great equalizer for us Inlander staffers. And that's part of the appeal of Leo's music: There's something about it that almost everyone can enjoy. The longtime punk rocker — a guy who tours relentlessly and never shies away from speaking his mind — brings his band and his happy brand of punk rock to The Blvd tonight at 7 pm in support of their new record, The Brutalist Bricks. At $15, the tickets are a little more than your usual Blvd show, but I assure you, scrounging up the extra pennies will be worth it.
