Fleeing suspect hit by car A man suspected of stealing from the downtown Macy's on Friday was struck by a car as he fled the scene. (SR)

Planes falling from the sky A pilot enjoying the fireworks over Coeur d'Alene on Sunday had to crash-land his small plane on I-90 after losing power. (KXLY) Then two were injured when they crashed a small plane into power lines near Keller, in Ferry County. (KHQ)

Sagle man arrested for Portland murder A man whose wife disappeared two years ago near Portland moved to Sagle but was arrested for her murder this weekend. (Columbian)
