Spokane City Hall closes after unidentified white powder is found

Spokane City Hall is closed after a white powdery substance was found this afternoon, according to a new release sent out to the media at 3:22 pm.

Police and firefighters have responded and employees who came in contact with the substance have been segregated. Everyone else in the building is being asked to remain on their floors and the public is not being allowed inside at this point. 

The 6 pm council meeting will be held as usual. You can watch it on CityCable 5 and on the web at www.spokanecity.org.
