Back in Bloglander's infancy, I wrote a post about a Sagle couple who had received a $100,000 federal grant and built a small-scale prototype of what they call a "solar roadway" — a series of photovoltaic panels, stuffed with LEDs and broadband and phone cables — that could be stitched together to form a new kind of enviro-friendly road surface.
