MORNING HEADLINES: Stupid politicians, smart moose

Posted on Mon, Oct 18, 2010 at 8:49 AM

I’m with stupid U.S. Sen. Patty Murray and her challenger, twice-failed Republican gubernatorial candidate Dino Rossi, had it out face-to-face for the last time Sunday. Murray said Rossi would resurrect Bush and his failed polices, while Rossi said Murray and her Democratic compatriots will bankrupt the country. Who to believe? (SR)

New BMOC Michael Ormsby was sworn in Friday as the new district attorney for Eastern Washington. Break out the bubbly! Now if somebody could just tell me what exactly a district attorney does. (SR)

Not meese, just one moose With a big ole grin on her face, KREM’s Abbey Gibb tells us a moose “terrorizes the South Hill.” A more somber Othello Richards chases the beast from Ferris High School, through a country club, down Hatch Road and over a fence. Near nature, near being killed by a vagabond moose. (KREM)

Facebook doesn’t like you A Wall Street Journal investigation has found that Facebook doesn’t guard against certain applications transmitting identifying information on to advertisers. The most popular social networking site making money off of our friendships — what a surprise. (WSJ)
