MORNING HEADLINES: Hart, Hart, Snowpocalypse and ... Hart!

Because that's the problem — Long-suffering Idaho state Rep. Phil Hart wants a new judge assigned to his whole "not paying taxes because I don't feel like it" case. He cites … well, absolutely nothing in his desire to have the current judge recuse himself, instead pointing to an Idaho court rule that allows for a judge's dismissal without cause. (Spokesman)

Get a brain, morans — Spokane County says it's having difficulties counting all the ballots from last week's election because they can't read your handwriting. Apparently, everyone in Spokane County is a doctor. Or lazy. "The ballot was so long that voters got tired," says County Auditor Vicky Dalton. (KREM)

That didn't take long — After careful consideration (and because Hart finally asked), alleged non-taxpayer Idaho state Rep. Phil Hart will not serve on the House Revenue and Taxation Committee. (IReporter)

Look what you did now — The state Department of L&I announced workers' comp rates are going up an average of 12 percent next year. Expect the I-1082 supporters to dust off their "told ya so"s, despite having no idea how the measure's passage would have affected rates. (Seattle Times)

It's beginning to look a lot like Snowpocalypse — For all you naysayers who decried the onslaught of the snowtastrophe simply because of sunny weather into November (me), the National Weather Service says there's a possibility of snow Wednesday, with more chances over the weekend. You've been warned. (Spokesman)

Owner of a lonely Hart Sandpoint's intrepid Zach Hagadone spent Monday pursuing the myriad angles on Idaho state Rep. Phil Hart finally being removed from the Legislature's House Revenue and Taxation Committee after a heart-to-Hart with House Speaker Lawerence Denney. (Boise Weekly, via Kevin Taylor)
