Big night for local music!
Pay $10 and be entertained all night tonight at nYne, where the Spokane for Japan benefit show will be happening. Because the show features so many bands, we bugged them for a schedule. Here's what's on the calendar for this evening:
6 pm Karaoke Roulette
7 pm DJ Stone Tobey
8 pm B Radicals
8:35 pm Jesi B and the Allrights
9:10 pm Shenandoah Davis
9:45 pm Horse Thieves
10:20 pm C-Flow
10:55 pm Gun of the Sun
11 pm Tangled Roots Breakers
11:35 pm Whiskey Dick Mountain
12:10 am Flying Spiders
12:45 DJ Audio Affiliated
Gotta be 21 to hit the nYne benefit.
Catch an early punk rock show over on the Hop! stage, featuring Erode, Losing Skin and the Young Turks. Stick around for the late show (which really doesn't start very late) with punk rockers Deadones USA, Our Truest Fears, the Federales (hey, weren't they breaking up?), Yamamoto and They're Watching. Early show at 6 pm, late show at 8:30 pm. $5 each. All-ages.
Over at Mootsy's, Diamond Speed Boat takes the stage with Monuments and Drag Like Pull (featuring members of the Toy Garden). 9 pm. $5. Gotta be 21.
If you're all about dancing, you'll be happy to know that the once-in-awhile new wave/80s dance party, Slang, has found a permanent home. Every Friday night, the Divine Jewels takes over the tables at the Spotlight Lounge to host the goth-y (but not really) dance party. 9 pm. $3. Gotta be 21.
And an old school Spokane band, alt-rockers Seeking the Elephant, reunite tonight alongside Koreshakti Tribal Fusion and the Desert Silk Dance Company at the Bing. $10. All-ages.
