Hey local musicians!
We're gearing up for our annual Local Music Issue, and want to make sure we've got your latest album on our iPods. If you've got an album (or EP, or tape) that you've produced in the last year, we'd like to check it out. You can drop a CD in the mail, at our front desk or send a link to our inboxes (with album artwork, if you've got it) — but we need it by Monday, May 9 at noon.
And if you've heard yet, Volume, our massive music extravaganza — featuring the five BANDS TO WATCH that we'll reveal in our May 19 issue — is happening again this year at the Knitting Factory on Thursday, May 26, at 7 pm. It's free and all-ages — and one helluva good time.
Check out this little slideshow of last year's show.
