NW Woman editor accused of cyberstalking — Charity Doyl is accused by a former boyfriend of using his credit card to send him thousands of dollars' worth of Russian fish and threatening to exploit his list of business contacts. Drama! (KXLY)

Police ombudsman powers reversed — When the City of Spokane gave its police ombudsman independent powers to investigate police misconduct, they did so without consulting the Police Guild, according to an arbitrator, who stripped the ombudsman of that power. (SR) 

Lake Coeur d'Alene trees could be removed — The Army Corps of Engineers wants to cut down around 500 trees on the "dike road" separating NIC and the Fort Grounds neighborhood because they're destabilizing the soil. (SR)
