Spokane beer gets some national attention

It looks like No-Li Brewhouse's rebranding efforts — they were previously known as Northern Lights — are paying off.

The Spokane-based craft brewer was recently listed in a national roundup of beers in Esquire magazine that linked an NFL team with a local beer recommended for their fans. And rather than pick a Seattle brew for the Seahawks, the magazine decided to acknowledge the dutiful members of Seahawk Nation on this side of the mountains by selecting No-Li's Crystal Bitter.

If you don't want to hit that link, here's what the magazine said about No-Li.

Many Seahawks fans on the east side of Washington State are rejoicing thanks to the rebirth of Spokane’s Northern Lights Brewing Co., which in April was renamed No-Li Brewhouse and is producing exceptional beers. My favorite is Crystal Bitter, an ale that encompasses English, German, and American brewing styles. Try it with panko-crusted razor clams that you’ve pan-fried to a golden amber color, which Paxton recommends serving with orange-and-kimchi aioli.
