MORNING BRIEFING: Fire in Pullman and the next phase of the Zimmerman case

Four unoccupied apartment buildings in Pullman — set to house WSU students this fall — were destroyed in a fire over the weekend. Authorities are calling it suspicious. (SR)

A home burglary early this morning turned into a police chase, which then resulted in the suspect being hospitalized. (KHQ)

A jury acquitted George Zimmerman of all charges related to the death of Trayvon Martin. Now, the Justice Department says it's reopening its investigation into whether the 2012 shooting was a hate crime. (NYT)

Greenpeace activists broke into a French nuclear plant as a protest. (AJ)

The airline Asiana says it will sue a San Francisco TV station that used fake and offensive names for four pilots who were on the plane that crashed at the San Francisco airport last weekend. (USA Today)
