National Geographic Live coming to Spokane

Beginning this October, photographers, scientists, filmmakers and explorers will share their experiences in Spokane, and in person, as a part of National Geographic Live. This four-part presentation series features these adventurers telling their stories through images and video at downtown's INB Performing Arts Center.

CORAL KINGDOMS AND EMPIRES OF ICE

These underwater photographers have explored the waters of Antarctica and the tropics to discover the animals that inhabit them.

EXPLORING MARS: THE NEXT GENERATION

Kobie Boykins
This NASA engineer is part of the reason the Curiosity science rover on Mars is trekking around the Red Planet. He'll share what Curiosity has, and still is, discovered so far.

GRIZZLIES, PIRANHAS & MAN-EATING PIGS

Many different roles come along with the title National Geographic wildlife photographer, and Sartore shares the best and worst of them.

UNTAMED ANTARCTICA

Cory Richards and Mike Libecki
Summiting and photographing Bertha's Tower in Antarctica put these extreme climbers through wind and cold unlike anything they'd ever experienced.

Individual tickets for each event are $41.50 for all ages; season tickets for the entire series are $150.
