The top songs of the summer, according to YouTube and Google

Labor Day has passed, but that doesn't mean we can't still reflect on 2014's summer in music.

YouTube, Google Play and Google Search have compiled lists of their top-searched songs and artists between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

Whether you "turned down for what" or are still listening to "Gangnam Style", your web searches have told us exactly what the world has been listening to this past season.

Iggy Azalea ruled this summer as the top search for all three outlets. Other oft-searched powerhouses included Nicki Manaj and Ariana Grande, indicating it was a big season for female artists, as well as the Snoop-aided Jason Derulo. Apparently, the majority hasn't grown weary of Frozen's "Let it Go," either. It's possible young children are using computers more than we know, or perhaps adults are loving Disney as much as they did in the days of The Lion King.
