There are always a bevy of worthy options for your consideration in our event listings, and in our Staff Picks

If you need a little more guidance, here are some highlights for Thursday, Jan. 15:

LIVE MUSIC | I had the chance to check out the first of this winter's concerts in the Chateau Rive concert series last week. Not only did David Lindley put on a mesmerizing performance, but the venue was a true highlight. The sound was great, there was wine and beer on hand, and the basement-catacomb vibe was truly unique. Check it out for yourself when Korby Lenker and Marshall McLean take the stage. And you can read all about the series and venue here

COMMUNITY/VISUAL ARTS | Local design geeks unite! The Barlett is hosting Dribbble Meetup No. 1, a free-wheeling gathering of designers to talk about their craft in a laid-back scene.

WORDS | Author, life coach and clinical hypnotherapist James Barfoot is popping into Auntie's to read from his work Tribalize Now: The  Practice of Belonging. It's free and starts at 7 pm.
