Fame! Money! Enter our Annual Manual photo contest

Posted By on Thu, Jun 9, 2016 at 3:29 PM

Every year we put together a killer little publication you've probably seen, the Annual Manual, offering locals and visitors to the Inland Northwest virtually everything they need to know for living and playing in our neck of the woods.

This year, you can be the visionary behind the cover if you win the first-ever Annual Manual Photo Contest. Not only will your shot be the cover of this glossy publication, and seen by hundreds of thousands of eyeballs over the course of a year — you'll also get a cool $250.

You can find all the pertinent details here, but here are some basics:

• The theme of the photo is This Is Why We Live Here. Show us the images of the people, places, and landscapes that illustrate what’s so special about living in the Inland Northwest.

• If there are people in your photos, you're going to need to have a signed model release from them, allowing their image to be used.

• The deadline for submitting your photos is July 8 at 5 pm, and winners will be notified by July 15.

• The photos need to have been shot after Jan. 1, 2015. You can submit as many as you like, and they can be in color or black-and-white. And we need a 100-words-or-less caption telling us what's in the picture, the story behind the photo.

• To be considered for the cover, the shot needs to be vertical. But you can submit horizontal shots to potentially be included inside the magazine.

Happy shooting!
