The Big Dipper has a full night of excellent stuff from CdA's Goodnight Venus, The Bettys, Astronaut and The Trees, while Mac Sabbath headlines at the Knitting Factory. What is a Mac Sabbath? From what I gather, they take Black Sabbath songs and turn them into metallic odes to McDonalds. Really Take a look at his:
For something a little more listenable on Saturday, consider the countrified sound of Michaela Anne at The Bartlett.
When Christian rock and Christian rap collide, who wins? On the Heartland Tour featuring Lecrae and Switchfoot, fans of those genres I suppose. It stops at the Fox.
I wonder how many folks from that show will head to the Baby Bar after for a show by Seattle garage rockers Porn Bloopers, joined by local ladies Itchy Kitty?
