Monday, May 8

Tuesday, May 9

LIVE MUSIC | The Celtic-tinged Flogging Molly headline the Knit, joined by The White Buffalo. Here's a little sample of the Flogging sound:


COMMUNITY | Head over to Spokane Falls Community College for a noon discussion of Whose Land Is It? North Dakota Access Pipeline, a dive into its effect on tribal sovereignty.

Wednesday, May 10

COMMUNITY | The Pantsuit Nation evolved out of Hillary Clinton's supporters last November, and has turned into a massive support group for folks disturbed by the country's direction. Auntie's is hosting a Pantsuit Nation Book Launch and Meetup at 7 pm.

Thursday, May 11

WORDS | Spokane's new storytelling series Pivot hosts its second gathering, this time with the featured artists diving into Secrets at the Washington Cracker Co. Building.

LIVE MUSIC | Canada's Current Swell is hitting the Big Dipper for a headlining show, joined by Hey! Is For Horses and Cattywomp. Read our interview with Current Swell

Friday, May 12

FASHION | The Great PNW clothing company and Rainier beer are teaming up on some new clothes and celebrating with a big ol' party featuring live tunes, DJs, food trucks, beer deals and more.

CONCERT EVENTS | The Spokane Symphony tackles the music of Led Zeppelin. Watch for a story in the new issue of the Inlander to learn how it works when classical meets classic rock.

Saturday, May 13

LIVE MUSIC | Rap master Oddisee headlines at The Big Dipper, an excellent show in a small venue that you wouldn't get in most towns. Watch for an interview with Oddisee in the new Inlander. Here's a little sample:
