Jeers to everyone who think that customer service reps are your personal verbal punching bag. 9 times out of 10 it is not our fault that something went awry on your account, or on your order, or on your reservation. Most of the time, it is your fault for not giving us correct information on what you want us to do. When we speak, it is not an open invitation for you to interrupt and start speaking only to get frustrated when we ask you to repeat what you say. When we tell you that we cannot do something because it is against company policy, then we can't do it, or we won't do it because you're being rude. Being rude will not get you far. If you are rude to us, then we will not go out of our way to make you happy. Why should we? You're the one calling us names and being nasty. Just please keep in mind that we are actual people, we do have feeling, and we do actually want to help you, just not when you are verbally attacking us.
