Boaters and Jet Skiers

Posted on Sat, Sep 4, 2010 at 10:44 AM

To all those on Newman Lake that have absolutely no regard for others, I hope you sink your sporty vessels, or blow a piston as you speed past fisherman like me. I deliberately chose a weekday to fish the extreme ends of the lake, out of the way of the wake-producing jackasses who nearly capsize my 14' aluminum boat, yet 99% of the lake is not good enough for you. No, you must veer within yards of me, once almost colliding, even though I sat stationary in the water, a few feet from the fringe of the lake. And to the guy who raised his beer can in an attempt to apologize, screw you. I bet you think that the lake is exclusively yours, since maybe you own property on it. Guess what? No one owns the water. You drunken idiots not only scare the fish, but you scare me.  I hope a tiger muskie bites your toes off the next time you fall off your tube.
