There are still tears. I think about how each breath should be my
last 'cause I am without you. Crazy you think I am and you're right because
I should not still want you. But I would trade my entire life to spend one
more minute being loved by you again in yours. As smart as you are, and in
how much I believed in you, courageous and strong like a lion, fearless
about our relationship, yet you know nothing in the matters of the heart.
You know nothing about real heartache and you certainly do not know true
love when it's right in front of you. It never fades, is unconditional, and
holds on in the face of adversities. No amount of time will ever fill the
emptiness you left in mine. How could I ever expect you to understand what
that feels like, maybe someday you will. You may be with her now, but know
this I would have never taken a single day of your life for granted. -C
