25th Annual National Public Lands Day

In celebration of the 25th annual National Public Lands Day, Nez Perce National Historical Park is planting milkweed, an essential plant for Monarch butterflies, near the Spalding Picnic area. We invite you to join plant ecologists and help restore this beautiful plant. Milkweed is the only plant Monarch caterpillars eat, making it vital to their survival. Pollinators and other insects rely on the nectar and parts of the plant for nutrition.
