Inspired by Dr. Oliver Sack’s accounts of patients awakening from decades-long comas, “Alaska” follows Deborah as she wakes up from a 29-year sleep, greeted by her doctor and sister who have been long awaiting this moment. Directed by Ricky Kimball and presented by University of Idaho Theatre Arts. At the Pocket Playhouse, 1028 W. Sixth St. (Shoup Hall). Sept. 13-23; Thu-Sat at 7:30 pm, Sun at 2 pm.
