When: June 10-12 2016
Now that summertime is here, expect arts celebrations galore in the form of festivals, markets, shows and more, many held in the outdoor sunshine. Following up last weekend’s ArtFest is the third annual Art on the Blacktop. Held in the parking lot of the house-turned-gallery across the street from the Lincoln Heights Shopping Center, local fine artists — including Karen Mobley, Tom Wakeley, Linnea Tobias and many others — who work in painting, photography, sculpture, drawing and more are setting up tables for the three-day event. Food trucks and live music round out the weekend, bringing a festival feel to this smaller, yet up-and-coming event.
