Best Place for Wine and Spirits
This purveyor of Greek cuisine has been a local favorite for years for its food, but for the past few years, Niko's has been known as a great place for wine, too. Ever since the downtown Spokane restaurant added a wine bar, it's been on the map for those looking for something other than a raging night on the town. Here's an intimate, refined place to sample high-quality wine without having to yell to be heard over the thumping music. Nestled in the south end of the restaurant, with windows looking out on Post Street, the low lighting and cozy atmosphere make Niko's wine bar the perfect place to try something unique — which isn't hard since Niko's stocks literally hundreds of different wines. The wine bar offers special tastings, with great appetizers, every Thursday evening from 4-7 pm, so you can see for yourself what all the fuss is about.
