The brains behind Terrain, the yearly one-night art blitz have packed the night with great music — from underrated locals to respectable out-of-towners. Here are our picks for the best stuff to dance to, sway to and sing at the top of your lungs to all night long. Our picks? Don't miss My Pinky Has a Name, Jetman Jet Team, Strange Mana and OCNotes — but stay all night if you can. Check out our preview of the event here. Across the street at the Knitting Factory, 1980s pop favorites, the Psychedelic Furs, play the songs that made them famous — "Love My Way," "Pretty in Pink" — among others. Check out our story about the band here. (All-ages)


And just a little more down First Avenue, a night of creepy crawly electronic music will take over the Baby Bar. Boston’s Glass Teeth — a DJ just as spooky and scratchy as he is completely poppy — headlines the night, alongside locals like Moscow electro-dance duo Psychic Rites and beat manipulator Sales Wagon. In conjunction with an art show by Dan Ocean and presented by his dark DJ project Brothers ov Midnite, this seems to be a night to prove that eerie music can still be totally fun to dance to.
