HERE

The Spokane Symphony strike is over, Christmas will happen. Phew (Inlander)

Hold out 'til tomorrow, stoners. Pot will be legal — with restrictions, duh — tomorrow. (SR)

Things got heated yesterday during a debate over a proposed coal facility. Eight hundred people showed up to the Expo center for the event. The drama started early in the day after day laborers were hired to hold spots in line for pro-coal groups wanting to speak.

And the FBI keeps searching for a kidnapping suspect, who keeps evading their grip. (KXLY)

YONDER

Citigroup will cut 11,000 jobs. Gulp. (NYT)

Guess which words were looked up most this year, according to Merriam-Webster Dictionary folks: capitalism and socialism. (Washington Post)

The New York Post runs a front page photo of a man seconds before he is hit by a subway train. The question many are asking: could the photographer have helped him? (Wall Street Journal)

Look at this and then forget it immediately. (Buzzfeed)

I'M REALLY SORRY ABOUT THIS
