Body-Positive Activist Amy Pence-Brown

Pence-Brown, a U of I alum, became an Internet sensation last summer with her video of a demonstration to promote positive body image: The mother of three stood in the Boise Public Market in a bikini, encouraging passersby to draw hearts on her body and recognize that “all bodies are good bodies.” She presents as part of the university's first Body Positive Week initiative.
