Community Peace Event

Cheney Congregational Church sponsors a second "peace event" featuring guest speaker LaRae Wiley of the Salish School of Spokane. As part of her presentation, Wiley helps dedicate the church's new Peace Pole to be installed outside on the Sixth Street side of the church campus. The new pole features eight languages: English, Salish, Russian, French, Spanish, Chinese, Arabic and Japanese.
