Desert Island Discs

Being stuck on a desert island with my five favorite discs? Sounds like paradise to me. The first CD is my personal favorite, No Need To Argue, by The Cranberries. I can listen to Dolores' angelic voice for days on end. The way she sings about lost loves, family and war really stirs up some great emotions. Another modern day classic is (What's The Story) Morning Glory? by Oasis. The way Noel Gallagher blends his creative lyrics and melodies on songs like "Wonderwall" and "Some Might Say" makes you want to hit the repeat button. Violator by Depeche Mode would be my third selection. The team of David Gahan and Martin Gore legitimize 80's pop music while being very hypnotic. Next is The Ultimate Collection by The Temptations. Songs like "My Girl" and "Ain't Too Proud To Beg" cheer me up however down I get. I may be jumping on the bandwagon with my next choice, but Abbey Road by the Beatles is a masterpiece. Their last recording together is a swan song that proves they truly are the greatest. Well, my CDs are packed, all I need now is my plane ticket and I'll be ready for paradise.
