Great Ideas: Spokane: Today

The brainchild of Blue Door Theatre comedian Matt Dargen, this TED Talk-esque parody mashup takes all the awkward, uncomfortable and boring elements of lectures and presentations and spins them out of control. As the pitch from Dargen himself states: “When you hear a GI:S:T! talk, you’re getting pure genius straight from the source.” Some audience members’ laughter may turn into salty tears. Others will be awed by PowerPoint presentations that defy the definition of bad. Most will walk away stunned, wondering what the hell they just witnessed, yet yearn for more.
