Led by Spokane Poet Laureate Laura Read, “I Am a Town” asks participants to create poems based on specific places in Spokane that are be tied to a personal memory. After workshopping the poems and getting feedback from area writers, poems are presented during a community reading, with selections gathered and published in the “I Am a Town” poetry anthology.
