Independent Bookstore Day

The daylong celebration features events scheduled all day long, including but not limited to music by international award winning accordion player Sam Thomas, belly dancing with Picaresque, and a Spokane Poetry Slam special event at 7 pm. Many local authors also participate in unique and interesting ways, such as Jess Walter, who is available to ghostwrite your text messages or record voicemail messages.
