Mount Spokane Trail Work

When: Wed., Aug. 3, 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Tue., Aug. 9, 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Wed., Aug. 17, 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Sat., Aug. 20, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. and Sun., Aug. 28, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. 2016

Trail 104, a short connector trail between the Lower Kit Carson Loop Road and Trail 100, has suffered extensive erosion damage from hard use by hikers, equestrians and mountain bikers. Volunteers will help rebuild trail tread where it is outsloped and migrating downhill, reconfiguring some of the switchbacks and installing steps in areas where the damage is greatest. Register online to help us restore this trail so it can serve everyone for years to come. Sessions on Aug. 3, 9, 18, 20 and 28, from 8 am-4 pm.
