Music for Holy Week

The Cathedral offers an interweaving of music for Holy Week, including "The Seven Last Words in African American Spirituals." The lunch hour service presents a compilation of African American spirituals sung by congregation and choir. Following the Tenebrae service at 7 pm, the Cathedral Kantorei Choir and Collegium Orchestra present Buxtehude's "Membra Jesu Nostri" at 8:30 pm. Members of the Adaptations Dance Company also join the presentation with dance, all under the direction of music director Dr. Timothy Westerhaus.
