No Kids Left Spokane

When: Fri., April 20, 10 a.m. 2018

From event organizers: Enough is enough. In the 19 years since 13 students and teachers were murdered in their classes at Columbine, politicians have not found the will to make us safe at school. It’s time for us as students to use our agency and engage in peaceful protest against this unacceptable part of our American life. We will join students across the country on April 20, the anniversary of the Columbine shooting, by peacefully walking out of our classrooms at 10 am local time, and demonstrating outside of school. We will show our political leaders that we may not have the right to vote now, but we will soon and we will not tolerate inaction.
